Hello garden friends,
Have many of you begun or have finished your perennial bed clean up? I
have 2 LARGE beds completed and the foliage shredded and in the compost
bed. My Canna's are dug (once again) stored in soft drink boxes covered
with peat, and waiting for the spring. I have several smaller beds to
clean and then some of my over flow plants are in the veg garden and I
need to remove a few weeds that have popped up. I have noticed that
Black eye Susan ,gaillardia, coreopsis, and larkspur have dropped seed
and next springs plants are up and doing well. Of course most are not in
the correct row and the space between rows is covered with baby's that I
will pot up come March. NOW if only my home were as clean and we just
will not speak of the windows! Every one has their priorities and I
suppose I have a tolerant hubby.
