Hi Hal,

   I know some people have already responded, but I figured an answer
   'straight from the horse's mouth' would be better.

   The perennials list strips off any attachments that are sent to
   it before resending the message to subscribers, so you shouldn't
   be able to get any viruses from this list.

   My guess is that the anti-virus software picked up on something
   in the message headers (which don't get stripped), but the message
   had already been rendered harmless by the Mallorn servers...
