Re: Bamboo Recommendation


Well, Steve, they say 2 to 3 feet.  I made a typo on my post; my
railroad tie wall is 36" not 30" and my bamboo is coming up under it
from the top of the berm, which is somewhat above the railroad tie
retaining wall - which is why I said 4' for Texas:-)  I mean, if you
want to be SURE you're containing it.  I would, personally, be leery
of any barrier that had a seam of any kind since those rhizomes will
find the least little opening and whiz right through; they are tough
and aggressive once established.
