What a great show. I'm hopeful I can find such a show at this time of the
year here in Bucks County, Pa. I know Malva 'Zebrina' and it is a very
pretty flower; an oldie but goodie that my wife grows...
Next week the Bucks county Master Gardeners, of which I'm an active member,
will make troughs. We'll make two each,one for the maker and one for the
spring plant sale. I've had a trough for a long time. Then two...now four
and going to five and before the MG program was announced, I had made a frame
for a larger type trough to build in our heated garage this winter. The
selection of plants is incredible. I had the oppurtunity a few weeks back of
visiting a member of our local Nargs chapter. At 80 years young she
maintains 35 troughs. A virtual museum.
I'm familiar with your area as my daughter lived in Kingsport for 10 years
and we visited several times per year. Clearly one of the most beautiful
areas in the country.
Congrats again on winning, Nancy M. and to Nancy R. congrats on putting on a
great show............
