I wish I had more leaves to worry about! Last year I used an extra layer
with neighbors X-mas trees left out on the curb when we didn't get snow
and constant weather temps changing....
Honestly, how many other go around and take neighbors leaves to use in
their garden... I do, since this is a new subdivision, (cornfield) so
there are just not enough of them here yet.... but getting there.
Interesting about the iris tho... I have mulched them for years and
guessing I just got lucky!
