Need help re rose

Hi, I need help quick... (well before Monday anyway) Just came back from the funeral of a friends mother, and since both this lady and our friend were/are gardeners we've decided to give them a rose as a memorial rather than the traditional flowers that die. Her favourites were red roses and since we're going up north to spend a few days with our friends next week, thought we'd like to take it with us. Roses are not my thing.... any suggestions??? Need a red rose that will survive Zone 4 bordering on zone 3. I'll have to get it on Monday. Must remember to let my fingers do the walking before I spend a tankful of gas hunting.
Any suggestions you have would be REALLY helpful
