The worst problem with gnats is their going into your face. They are actually
trying to get moisture out of your eyes. That's what makes them so
bothersome.
If you are used to wearing a ball cap, go to a sporting goods store and get a
ball cap for turkey hunting with the cammo netting that lays in front of your
face and loosely ties around your neck. This really helps keep them at bay.
