Barb, that is an amazing photo essay on spider bites! We are told the
same thing here in Oregon..i.e. "there aren't any brown recluse spiders in
this state". I wonder if a black widow spider could have been the villain?
Only knew one person who was bitten - when I lived in Idaho - and it was
also a very nasty bite. I'm very glad this woman healed as well as she
did. It seems like the "alternative medicine" did as much or more to get
her through it as the traditional medicine.
