I haven't; in containers here zone 8 they likely would not bloom as a
container would be too warm; the ground itself is very marginal for
herbaceous peonies. I don't know if you could leave a peony out in a
container in that zone b/c I think they are marginally hardy to that
zone.
One point: if you *do* have to divide often, what will *you* do with
all your excess plants? :-)
