My apologies if you have all answered this many times before.
I'm a new gardener living on an island off the coast of Maine which makes
the zone 5 rather than 4. The biggest problem we have is an overpopulation
of deer with voracious appetites and most of my neighors have given up
gardening. About the only plants and shrubs I've found that are 100% safe
from the deer are barberry (all types), spirea and siberian iris.
Since I don't care to spray Ropel every morning, does anyone have any other
suggestions for plants that the deer won't eat.
