Re: Wood ashes?
Steve: It's not a good idea to add charcoal ashes that come from a
grill. The reason is that they usually have meat drippings & residue mixed
in with them, & these animal residues are not good for the soil. However,
thinking back to the indians Planting fish with their corn, perhaps the
residue of barbecued/grilled fish might be an exception.<VBG>
