Re: gardening gloves (was show of hands)

I only have one pair of gardening gloves and yes, they do get wet, and some of
the dirt seeps through. I do like the feel of soil and I guess if I didn't
work where I do I probably would put the gloves aside.  However, I have found
them useful in not getting bit reaching in a plant and you can't see what you
are grabbing onto.  To each their own.
I am a major hand cream user-probably should by some stock in Aveeno.

I went and bought two more plants today.  Euphorbia amygdaloides "Purpurea"
and Acorus gramineus "Varigatus" (Japanese Sweet Flag).

I know nothing about these plants other than what the tag tells me.  Any
thoughts on these, good, bad, or ugly?
