The bloom on mine was yellow. It starts out furled like a leaf and then
unfolds. It resembles a peace lily bloom, if you've ever seen one of those.
The first bloom died within three days, maybe because of the weather being
cool and it rained 4 inches. It has another one ready to burst forth any
day. I guess it isn't unusual for it to bloom only I didn't know they did.
It is just unusual here in our area. I think they are really nice and I
plant them every year.
