The copyright notice on the same page has a link explaining why they
got the trademark, etc.  Given their explanation ("It is illegal for
private sector businesses to use the term Xeriscape in the title of their
business"), I don't understand why all of their pages say "XERISCAPE
COLORADO!, INC." at the top and bottom...  

However, the phrase "xeric gardening", "xeric landscaping", or even
"arid gardening" would probably do the same trick.

And tomorrow I'm going to trademark "mesiscape" and "forestscape" (no,
not really).  :)
