I actually got my plant for a local Oregon nursery
(which doesn't necessarily mean its hardy), but I
was sure it was a zone 7 at least. I'll find out; we're
due for the "worst winter in 50 years" here in
Oregon -- which in my area can mean weeks of
below 0 wind chilld factor and temperatures and
then ice for days and days when it does rain. I'll let
you know how she comes through.

is very conservative.
Mine does very well most winters, but may suffer
above ground damage at
-15C(5F), but recovers well. So in Zone 7 i would
try it in a protected
place.
