White Nancy is one of my absolute favorites. It grew wonderfully for me
in Michigan, in fact, it was evergreen in the spot I placed it (under a
willow tree). In fact, it's one of the free plants I got from that
nursery I mentioned in an earlier post. I received three and my friend
got two. All of them were a little burnt around the edges and slightly
dried out when we picked them up, but are now growing and looking
beautiful!!!!

At the same time, we picked up a lamium whose name I don't know, but it
had silvery/green foliage and yellow flowers. This one is barely
holding on; I'm not sure it'll make the winter. I'm wondering if being
within 10 feet of the edge of the black walnut tree has anything to do
with it's approaching demise, but the other lamiums don't seem to be
affected. However, two of the sedums I bought and planted there (both
semi-shade plants) are looking a bit bed-raggled, too.
