Re: Extra plants for trade

I might be interested but first tell me about these plants. If you do not
have persicaria it should be a must have. I would be willing to trade. Let
me tell you about it. Persicaria flowers are impatience pink (deep). It is a
distant relative of grasses in that it has narrow plumes about 6 inches long
and one inch thick. Sometimes called polygonum and in the same family. The
leaves are large with some interest of their own in a medium green solid
color. It starts blooming in July and is still in bloom now. For those
interesting in buying it Milaeger's Gardens 1-800-669-9956 carries it. They
will send you a free catalogue. I also have Joe Pye Weed Eupatorium the one
that looks like the annual ageratum in abundance. I warn it is very invasive.
I dig up and put it by the trees to winter over.
