Does anyone have any experience overwintering Calibrachoa (usually
'Million Bells' cultivars)?
According to the Proven Winners website (
http://www.provenwinners.com/springprod/million.shtml
), this species is "tender perennial that is hardy to 28-30 degrees
Farenheit." Most of my plants have sprawled to about 3' in diameter,
so I'm wondering if I should prune them back significantly when
transplanting into pots, or if I'm better off leaving them as large
as they are. The other question is about winter sun -- I'll have
them in the mud room on the north side of the house, so there's not
much light. I could put lighting in there on a timer, but how
necessary is it?
Thanks for any feedback,
Chris
