We had our first full frost here too, on the 21st. HOWEVER, my petunias
didn't get it, but the peppers right beside them died . . . . In the
unreal department, I STILL have buddleia blooming and a Japanese toad
lily that has five buds and two beautiful flowers!
It's been a splendid autumn in the upper midwest - we're close to 70 here
today - probably a record for this late.
Out to rake leaves onto my beds.
