Wisteria

At this new home there is a Wisteria vine - the previous owner said it
is about 3 years old and has not bloomed yet - she expected it to bloom
in the upcoming spring.
Any advice about what to do with it? - It needs a little pruning to get
it "neatened up" but I am not sure if I should just leave it alone until
spring at this point.
