There are so many species of hybiscus out there and with varying cultural
requirements, we need to know a bit more information. Species? Even a
common name or cultivar name might help? Is it shrubby or herbacious? We
have some up north here that are hardy to -25F (Hibiscus syriacus), but I
bet yours are not that type.
They might be the more tropical H. rosa-sinensis.
