Re: Moss?


Well, Pat, agree that most moss prefers damp shade, tho' some will grow in
dry sunny areas - not many and probably not easy to find.

But, there is a nursery on the web selling moss...called Mostly Moss.

Know absolutely nothing about them, but it's the only one I've ever run
across.

If you are interested in moss, I highly recommend George Schenk's
relatively new book, "Moss Gardening : Including Lichens, Liverworts, and
Other Miniatures" - opened my eyes to the world of moss.

Can be found (what's new?) at good old Amazon.com...
