Re: Favorite Spring Perennials
Forrest
I enjoyed doing it. however I know some of them are off time, maybe
not much, but incorrect nevertheless.
I really don't have much going on right now. I'm afraid I've lost most
of my coreopsis and shasta daisy. I had some other things that I will
have to replace come spring. most would still be blooming this time of
the year, but with the drought they just didn't make it, even my mums
look pitiful. I've got old timey petunias that usually can stand
anything that have bit the dust. thank the Lord I have some that did
survive they will give me a start next spring
do you know my pampas grass didn't even bloom this year, which is a
first. it was a struggle to keep the really important things alive. I
saved my bath water and saved my azelias (the ones that are around my
oak trees in raised beds)
however it would be a shame if we didn't have next year to look forward
to. it's hard to dampen the spirts of a gardener. am I right or am I
right !!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know about you, but I'll spend the
winter months looking a catalogs. and dreaming of spring.
and surfing the net looking for plants to wish for. can't afford to
many of them, but love to look
