Tree of Heaven is very much invasive. Not only does it spread by seed, but
its roots sprout all over the place. And it is a tough tree, laughing at
drought. And because it is very fast growing it will quickly shade out
smaller more desirable trees. And its wood is very soft and its branches
break off easily. And it smells bad. All in all, not much to recommend it.
I would certainly never plant it on purpose.
