That seems like good advice. I'll make it a point to get them in right
away.

I actually had wondered about putting the water siphoned out of my aquarium
into the pond, at least initially. (I use biological filtering in the
aquarium.) 'Course, it will a sacrifice; I usually use that water for my
houseplants!

I figured that was probably optimum, but the guy that's going to help
install it is available soon, plus I have a garden wedding coming up in
June, and I'd like to have it look "established" by that time. I'm hoping
if I just put in some basic stuff this fall, I can "polish it up" in the
spring and have it looking good by June.
