Subject: Ipheion uniflorum bulbs

I have a question for the group. I just bought Ipheion uniflorum. I didn't
look at the zone requirements at the store and it is only hardy to zone 6.
I'm in zone 5 and was wondering if I should plant or exchange them?
TIA,

Kris P IL zone 5

I put in Ipheion uniflorum 'Wisley Blue' fall before last in between my
peonies (in zone 5b). They haven't bloomed very well, possibly becaue I
didn't amend the soil very much there and it's on the parking area where
there's a lot of clay, but there were some blooms. Of course, we have had a
couple of pretty mild winters in East Central Illlinois, so I don't know
what kind of hardiness we'd have normally for this bulb.

Susan and David in Urbana, Illinois, zone 5b
