Yup, Marilyn, it sure was too drastic, even though the plant was only
about 24"' tall to start with...drastic-ed right into the old compost
heap in the sky:-) I had, if I remember correctly, had the plant for
a couple of years and hadn't pruned it all - and it seemed quite
happy and flowered until I 'followed directions'...sometimes the
education of a gardener is a painful one.
