Oh, Joel!  I don't know what to say, but feel compelled to say something.  I 
can't even imagine how it must be for you.  I know that, for myself and my 
family, we ache for everyone who has been so profoundly affected by this.  
It is a physical pain, and tears often arrive unexpectedly...

I'm thinking that the water garden currently under construction in my yard 
will be a memorial.  Obviously, it won't do anything to help, or to change 
the world, but I'm hoping that it will offer a little corner for reflection 
and peace in my little corner of the world.

Don, thank you for sharing the poetry with us, I believe it may be just the 
thing I've been looking for to mark the spot.

To all of our neighbors in other countries who have expressed support and 
concern, thank you for taking the time to do so.  It is appreciated.
