Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus or H. flava or lemon lily, the species will
bloom in the shade. It blooms much better in the sun but also will bloom in
the shade. In the Wharton Estate which is near me, they are trying to
restore the gardens. Great patches hosta, iris pseudocorus and H. flava
(easier, to hell with taxonomy) all bloom there in the shade. The daylily in
the woods.
