RE: perennials in containers - experiences ?


Well since the experts on this list must be busy--- 

What I heard- no personal experience-- is the perennial has to be a zone
colder to survive.... 

An interesting side note-- since I leave mine to the last possible
moment and then some (cover for the first early frost) I somehow never
get around to cleaning them up... and many times seedling do appear the
next spring.. cause once again, I am late in getting that cleaned up and
replanted... sometimes procrastination has its advantages :).. I have
not bought seed geraniums in three years.. cause they all come back as
new seedlings. Unbelievable for this zone!
