Yes they are viable seeds, and yes, they will reseed readily, but as Don mentioned, are easily removable. If you're into this type of thing, cut the whole stalks down, mass them in a nice vase and enjoy them dried in the house during the winter. They look nice against a light colored wall, and if friends want some seeds for next year, you can give them a whole stalk!Question is, are they seeds, as in I better do something or the entire area will be taken over with tons of this plant? Or is it more of an ornamental type berry and I should just enjoy them.
I've got masses of pods, as yet unripe, just waiting for the garden shears!
