Re: tucking in plants

YES, thank the Lord. we were blessed with a nice shower of rain last night. I was on the computer and my husband came and told me to come and "see" we couldn't believe it was actually raining. It's been awhile, probable 6 week or more since we've seen any of the wet stuff. As a matter of fact this is the first for the month of Sept. I was out this morning pulling grass out of the flower beds. There is a possibility of more to come this week, but that is yet to be seen. I pray, because I have so many things to go in the ground.

Donna, did you catch any of that heavy rain that went through Alabama? Did
they share even a little bit with you?

Thank you so much Marilyn, it's good to know that someone remembers,
"it's been so long" After my heart attack and the house fire I didn't
know if I would ever get back to normal..
Still can't do a lot in the flowers, but I do what I can. It takes a
long time to accomplish anything when you have to take so many breaks.
ha ha ha. I can look out and see a million things I want to do, but
have to pace myself. I've got several plants that I purchased late in
the season and was afraid to put them in the beds for fear they wouldn't
make it in this heat. I have managed to keep them alive so far, but
they really need to be in the ground. I'm praying for rain, however it
will take more than a sprinkle to be able to do much. I have faith
tho, "the Lord will provide"
