We here in NYS, 100 miles from NYC, had rain also, a nice steady rain
all day Sunday, with even some heavy rain occasionally.
This is after no rain in July at all, and only one real rain in August.
But the season is almost over, and most plants have survived, because we
watered regularly. We did lose a new birch tree, and some perennials.
