Sounds familiar.....:) I don't know what it is about DH in zone 5...
they are forever moving dirt !
I just went thru this .... carefully dig around the plant so the new
soil is away from them.... then dig up and replant at proper depth. I
thought some were not going to make it, but now that the rains have
come, appears all will be just fine.
