Hello Pat,
Tricyrtis have differing bloom periods depending upon the species,
cultivar or hybrid. that is pretty consistent. Sounds as though you have a
late bloomer. You can have a tricyrtis in bloom from about July onward into
first frost if you know which one to pick. Try one that has an earlier bloom
period and you will consistently see your blooms before frost comes in.
