Hello All,
Well, we had a day and half of rain and I got to spend the afternoon weeding and doing some general clean up. I quit after filling my fourth barrel of weeds, stalks, scapes etc. But, I have lots of nice fresh foliage on the daylilies and a few scapes still arriving.
But the joy of the day are my grasses. All of them look lush and their bloom season is just starting. It is bittersweet though, the season is coming to a rapid end.
I am starting to spy out bags of leaves to add to the compost heaps and other bits of useful organic matter. And since there are new homes being started, I am also seeking any interesting rocks I can add to the borders.
