Your comment made me run out and double check my Matrona. A plant I'm fond
of. Mine is in am shade--mid-day sun--pm shade. Standing tall but not as
burgundy as my son-in-laws whose three clumps are in FULL, ALL DAY SUN. Monster
beauties!
Why would yours be flopping? Alkaline soil? Not enough sun? Nah, you know
better. Bad plant? Perhaps....I think this can happen just as it does with
other living things. Have you grown more than one plant under the same
conditions. Have you tried other areas of you estate?
Love this plant......let's solve the problem and save Gene's Matrona.
