On another note, I understand Anemone "Honorine Joubert" was to be quite
hardy
and vigorous - mine has failed to show up once again - as did a friends -
what
am I doing wrong? - my others seem happy. Got a new one a couple of weeks
ago
- frilly lettuce type leaves - name escapes and I'm not home to check - sure
hope it takes. - Lil T
Lil,
don't have a clue on what could be going wrong with Ms. Joubert. I
transplanted to an area between the trunk of a hybrid horse chestnut and a
path lined with stones in poor soil. the Idea was to hold them in check. It
seemed to have worked. They are in bloom now and staying where they belong.
Only general rule of thumb I have is to transplant them in spring.
Next time you try, do our production dance backwards before
trnasplanting.
