Perhaps Chris can jump in here. I have not grown nana, tried to look
it up in Dirrs' book, but no luck. I have not experienced galls on any of
the viburnum growing here. Are they not the result of an insect laying eggs
beneath the bark? Cut out the infected branches and discard would be where I
would begin.
Chris what say you?

Hey Gene,
Google and your catalog tell me that you know a bit about viburnums...
SO...
I have a 12+ year old viburnum Nana and it has dropped all it's
leaves already and it appears to have galls or cankers forming all
over branches, but especially closer to the ground.
It is a bit crowded (which is being dealt with) but any and all
advice is welcome
Thank you
Cheryl
