Gene...I have a question regarding shrubs and sub-shrubs: how does one
identify the latter? My Hypericum comes up from multiple canes, acting more
like a perennial than a shrub.but I haven't moved one in awhile and can't
remember what it looks like below ground. Thanks, Joanie Anderson

OK,
All this discussion of shrubby forms of Hypericum. How about the
perennial forms. the natives? Any good looking natives that really do
perform well in some degree of shade? I tried starting some seeds once, but
had no luck. Can't remember the species now. Anyone with some good old
fashioned experience in their gardens?
Inquiring minds need to know.
