I ran to my garden journal and pulled out the info for my favorite red
phlox -
Phlox paniculata 'Sandra'
It's a tall phlox, 24" and blooms well for me in SE Wisconsin (Zone 5).
I, (stupidly) planted it near my red monarda and it got lost this year .
. .but I plan to move it to a more prominent spot. It was stunning!
Very rich red . . .almost glowed at sunset.
I got it from my county's annual plant sale so I can't give you a source.
If any one knows where I can get more of this truly lovely red phlox,
please let me know.
Thanks!
Lena
