My favorite is mums. There are a lot of different varieties and I like
spider mums in white because of the spiky petals. In front of my house
I have ten running foot of golden mums which are absolutely stunning in
the fall. I pinch off buds until the 4th of July. I planted these the
first year we lived here and have added some, but the original mums are
still there. They do not require a lot of watering, but do require
fertilizer if you have a "hybrid" color.
