Now, that's a nifty idea!!  I could plant them along the garden border, 
and then as they grow, I could pull and discard any that appear to be 
past their prime.  I don't figure I'd mess with the tulips and 
hyacinths, but there are some daffodils and camassia I'd like to 
salvage.  Now all I have to do is convince my husband to share the 
vegetable space :-)
(he's real stingy with his vegetable patch!)
