Hi Marilyn, I have grown Lobelia siphilitica from seed more than once and
there is natural variation in the species. Out of 2 flats of 4" plants from
the last sowing, for instance, there were about 1/2 all blue and 1/2 that
varied from white to lavender. Your flowers didn't " change" to white
although some perennials do change color as they age.
