Hey everyone,
You may remember that I discovered one of my mystery plants was a
Lobelia but that I had no idea what it was. Your posts have been
about syphilitica and cardinalis so I assumed that's what I had too.
Today, while cleaning my garage, I found the tag that had been on the
plant when I bought it last spring. This is what it says. "Lobelia
Gerardii 'Vedrariensis'. Grow in full sun to full shade". Is this a
variety of either of the ones you have been mentioning? I must say
that the growing conditions of "full sun to full shade" make it a very
accomodating sort of plant..easy to please. The label also mentioned
that it is blue. Since the flower buds haven't opened yet, I can't
confirm this.
