Janis,
I checked on the website that you suggested to someone else.
Someone on this list suggested it might be Hawkweed. It is definitely
not hawkweed..the foliage is nothing like it. However, it looks
exactly like the picture of Groundsel. The problem is that the
information didn't give any idea of the height of groundsel. My plant
is about 5 ft. tall. Does anyone know how tall groundsel gets?
Wouldn't you know..my mystery plant that has kept me guessing all
summer turns out to be a weed. I think I'll take up knitting instead
of gardening.!!
