Well, my Groundsel weed( which has been masquerading as a lobelia) and
which I have been nurturing and nourishing all summer expectantly
awaiting its dazzling bloom , is now languishing on my compost heap.
It met its demise at high noon, but, I cleverly deadheaded and de
rooted the blasphemous thing so as not to contaminate my valued
compost.
Beware all lobelia growers. My mighty wrath has been aroused once
again and I am sending out another curse over the internet to all
lobelias throughout the world. May they all turn into groundsels!!
Instead of a garden of carnal delight, I have nothing but virgin
plants. Alas.
