Jeanne, I'm sure that what you have there must be groundsel. I've seen it in
my garden but didn't know its name. In fact, I let it grow for a long time
thinking it must BE something. No....It was 3-4 feet tall when I finally
pulled it up, so I think 5 feet tall is certainly possible.
FYI, I just looked at the Rutgers weed site and it said specifically that
grounsel was a real problem in nursery containers.
