Dear Janis,
I appreciate your suggestion that I knit flowers for my groundsel
but as you know by now, it is too late. It is a limp lady reclining
on my compost pile. I might have known daisies had something to do
with it!. Actually, I should have known it was a weed. It was the
sturdiest plant you ever saw. With all its great height, it stood up
straight and proud and I didn't even need to stake it. That should
have made me suspicious right from the start. Most of my other flowers
have been doing a lot of slumping this summer. Oh well. I'm still
considering knitting.
