Dear Listmembers,
A few weeks ago, I read about Morden mums (developed at an agricultural
research center in Canada) in Doug Green's online newsletter. I wrote him a
note asking if he knew of a U.S. mail-order source for these mums; he
printed the query in his newsletter, but so far, I've seen no response. Do
any of you know of a source? My climate is too harsh for fall planting of
much except peonies and bulbs, but if you could clue me in on a place that
I could order from next Spring, I'd sure appreciate it.
TIA---Myrna, Zone 3, Montana (Where the asters are just getting going, as
are last year's mums that survived only because of an unusually mild
winter. Some other current bloomers are oriental lilies, purple
coneflowers, various rudbeckias, phlox, pansies, saponaria, a breath-taking
red lobelia, delphinium 'Dwarf Blue Butterfly' and--sorry, Jeanne--shasta
daisies)
